Amputation can be an isolating experience. Sometimes it is nice to complement professional advice and education, with practical tips and support from people who are going through what you are going through. APR facilitates and supports 2 groups in the South East Queensland area.
Our REVAMP program is designed for people relatively fresh to returning home after amputation, and would like to explore ways to participate in fun life activities and ventures. It is run by an experienced amputee Physiotherapist and aims to bring people together with amputation to meet and talk, whilst learning new skills and having a good time.
Our REVAMP sessions are currently run every 2 months.

Carers/companions of are free of charge to attend if providing support
These are free social days supported by APR that facilitate people with amputation, and their families, to gather and have a great time together. These days are often organised by amputees themselves and have included BBQ’s and coffee catch-ups.
